Slate.com has a great article explaining how the law of unintended consquences is giving a *retired* basketball player (Keith Van Horn) 
$4.3 MILLION for doing *nothing* in order to facilitate the trade of Jason Kidd from the Dallas Mavericks to the New Jersey Nets for Devin Harris due to the archane NBA trade rules. Wow. Talk about winning the lottery. They should have asked me, I would have done it for half that amount! :-)
